Course objective
To teach students how to create digital stories that effectively convey meaning through text, photos, videos, infographics, and multimedia. Students learn storytelling techniques, how to work with visual and audio materials, interactive formats, and content promotion.

Block 1. Introduction to digital storytelling (1 week)
- Basics of storytelling and digital narration;
- The difference between traditional stories and interactive formats;
- The goals and audience of digital stories;
- Tools and platforms for creating digital content.
Block 2. Story script and structure (1 week)
- Digital story formats: linear, non-linear, multimedia;
- Developing a story concept;
- Creating a script and storyboard;
- Preparing materials: texts, photos, videos, graphics.
Block 3. Visual and audio content (1 week)
- Basics of visual storytelling: photos, videos, graphics;
- Working with audio: sound, voice, music, podcast elements;
- Principles of composition and editing;
- Practical assignment: creating a short multimedia story.
Block 4. Interactive elements and multimedia (1 week)
- Implementation of interactive elements: buttons, hyperlinks, animation;
- Infographics and data visualization;
- Working with platforms: Canva, Genially, Adobe Spark, ThingLink;
- Practical assignment: creating an interactive story element.
Block 5. Promotion and publication (1 week)
- Publishing a digital story on platforms and the school website;
- Basics of promotion and SEO for media content;
- Social networks and platforms for distribution: Instagram, TikTok, Medium, YouTube;
- Audience analysis and feedback;
- Practical task: publishing the finished project.
Block 6. Final project (1 week)
- Assembling all elements of the project: text, photos, videos, interactive elements;
- Final editing and design of the story;
- Publishing the work on the school’s platform;
- Receiving feedback from the instructor.
