A Motorcyclist Was Killed in a Crash Wednesday on U.S. 50 in Johnson County

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — According to the highway patrol, a motorcyclist died in a crash on U.S. 50 in Johnson County, Missouri, on Wednesday.

The incident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of U.S. 50 at NW 1421 Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash log, a woman driving a GMC Acadia was changing lanes when she collided with a 1987 BMW motorcycle.

The motorbike toppled, and the driver was thrown from it.

The motorcyclist, a 63-year-old from Knob Noster, died on the spot. His name has not been released.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office aided in the investigation.
