Wyoming Couple Arrested after Three Kids Discovered in Seats Full of Cockroaches; Also Abused Kids as per Witness Report: Police

A Wyoming couple is facing serious charges of child abuse as their children were discovered confined in booster seats, with the disturbing presence of cockroaches crawling on them, according to court documents.

Last week, court documents were filed in Wyoming, naming Britney Morgan Melton and Aaron Eugene Nordstrom as defendants.

A woman named Melton is facing charges of child abuse and lying to a peace officer. According to the documents, she allegedly provided false information to the police, leading them to believe that her children were being supervised by a friend.

According to the document, she allegedly used a harness and knotted string to confine at least three of her children in booster seats, exposing them to roaches and other insects.

Nordstrom is facing charges related to the children being restrained in booster seats near the presence of roaches. Furthermore, he is alleged to have left young children at home without supervision, including a 4-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 1-year-old.

According to the documents, all three individuals were discovered outside of their residence, with the 4-year-old child found wandering in the street at the time of the police’s arrival.

Residents of the mobile home community where the couple resides informed that the two individuals frequently engaged in arguments. According to a witness, Melton allegedly used force to bring her oldest daughter inside when she refused to return home.

Wyoming police have chosen not to provide any comments at this time as reported by Wood TV. They have stated that the investigation is still ongoing and there is a possibility of additional charges in the future.

Both individuals are anticipated to return to court next week for a pretrial hearing.
