Woman Wanted by Interpol Arrested in Texas by US Marshals and Local Police; Fled to US after Murder Case in Mexico
A fugitive murder suspect wanted by Interpol was successfully apprehended by the Splendora Police Department, in coordination with federal law enforcement partners, on Friday.
Authorities have confirmed that the individual in question is Leo Acosta Sanchez, who was residing in Texas and the country without legal documentation. It is worth noting that Sanchez was frequently seen traveling between the city and her residence in Terrenos.
During a routine patrol, Splendora police officers spotted a woman driving a vehicle and quickly requested backup.
After the arrival of more units, a traffic stop was carried out, resulting in Sanchez’s arrest.
Sanchez has been apprehended as part of a collaborative operation involving the Department of Homeland Security. This action has been taken in response to the alleged crimes committed.
