Woman Shot Dead in the middle of Road in Tacoma identified by authorities and Shooter at large

Tacoma, WA: The Tacoma Police Department was informed of a woman with a gunshot wound lying in the middle of the road by a passerby.

The deputies arrived at the scene and found the wounded woman. The woman was shortly pronounced dead at the scene and was later taken to the hospital for autopsy.

The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office has announced the formal identification of the lady who was slain in Tacoma.

The 38-year-old Yinairy Medina Castro was shot numerous times and died on March 27 near the intersection of Tacoma Avenue South and Delin Street. According to a news statement from the medical examiner, her death was ruled a homicide.

The Tacoma Police Department had launched an investigation to look into the matter. The shooter is still at large. The motive behind the shooting remains elusive for now.

The authorities have not arrested anyone in this matter and the deputies are trying to locate the alleged shooter.
