Authorities and firemen were called to a home explosion in Lincoln, some thirty miles from Syracuse, just before 7:00 p.m. local time.
Authorities found two persons who were “entrapped” and debris from the residence when they arrived, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman was pronounced dead at the spot, but the male victim was evacuated to the hospital. The residence was occupied by the unidentified man and lady, according to a local publication.
