Woman Arrested After a Hot Car Chase in a Stolen Car; Hit Police Cars Multiple Times

According to a police news release, a lady was fired at by the police as she tried to escape the authorities. The woman fled from them in a stolen automobile in Bedford.

The woman is in the custody of the officials.

The release states that at approximately 9:15 p.m., officers were looking into reports of a stolen car in the 1300 block of Harwood Road when they noticed the woman seated in the vehicle.

When the woman escaped in the car and hit another police car, officers tried to get in touch with her. As to the release, the woman persisted in fleeing from the authorities and made her way into a parking lot, where the officers attempted to apprehend her by boxing her vehicle in.

But the woman kept crashing into the policemen’s cars until the police were able to take her into custody.

According to the news release, the woman attempted to flee once more and drove in the direction of one officer, who then shot her. Police pursued her after she fled the scene and the car became immobilized due to prior damage, the news statement stated. When she attempted to flee on foot, police caught her. There were no injuries, according to the police.
