Ashwaubenon, WI: A Green Bay man is facing four charges in connection with an incident at the Tundra Lodge, and his court appearance is set for March 31.
38-year-old Robert Latimer was arrested for reportedly masturbating in front of children at the Tundra Lodge, according to a criminal complaint that Local 5 was able to obtain. Officers were dispatched to the Tundra Lodge on March 30 at approximately 5:30 p.m. in response to a reported incident that occurred in the pool.
The children who claimed to have witnessed the man masturbating were interviewed by the officer when they arrived on the site. According to the lawsuit, the kids claimed to have witnessed him shifting his shoulders up and down and his hands in his shorts pockets.
By following them throughout the pool area, the kids said the man also caused them discomfort. According to the complaint, the kids told the officer that the male never touched them other than once during the day when he unintentionally brushed against their shoulders.
To talk to the man who was alone in the outdoor hot tub, officers proceeded down to the water park. Latimer was named as the suspect.
He allegedly denied masturbating when police questioned him about it while he was staying at the Tundra Lodge. According to the lawsuit, Latimer claimed he was attempting to repair the pockets in his swim trunks.
Furthermore, Latimer lacked a wristband and subsequently admitted to another officer that he had not paid to enter the Tundra Lodge. The complaint claims that Latimer was found in possession of a marijuana-containing vape pen.
Latimer said in a written statement that he never masturbated and that he was searching in his pockets because they “bunched up” due to the hot tub’s jets.
