US Navy Sailor Molested Woman and Later Killed Another Woman in Texas; Sentenced for Horrendous Crimes

A U.S. Navy sailor has been sentenced after being court-martialed for a serious offense. The sailor was charged with capital murder in Texas and was found guilty of sexually assaulting a fellow member of the armed forces at a barracks in January 2023.

A 20-year-old man named Julian Jefferson is facing charges for the alleged murder of Denise Lissette Ramos, a 22-year-old woman. The incident took place at Ramos’ residence in Fairfield, a small county seat in East Texas, approximately an hour east of Waco.

The victim’s body was found on March 28, when she failed to report to work. Jefferson was charged with her murder on May 20.

Prior to being charged with Ramos’ death in Texas, the defendant had already pleaded guilty in his ongoing military proceedings. Documents reveal that the sexual assault occurred on Jan. 14, 2023.

In the late hours of the night, at a naval base in California, the victim reached out to Jefferson via text to express her frustration with the loud conversations that were preventing her from getting some sleep. According to the documents obtained by the TV station, the defendant responded with an apologetic tone, using a crying emoji and expressing his intention to “get it lowered down.”

In the dark hours of the night, the victim was abruptly awakened by a series of forceful knocks on her door. Looking through the peephole, though, she didn’t spot anyone. More incidents of a similar nature persisted throughout the night.

At last, the victim managed to apprehend the individual in the hallway by swiftly opening her door while they were knocking. According to the document obtained by KWTX, she observed the accused in the hallway, donning his Navy PT sweatshirt with the hood concealing his head and face.

Jefferson swiftly got up and hurried into her room. The document states that she attempted to shut the door, but he intervened by placing his hand on it and proceeded to enter the room.

Once Jefferson entered the room, a heated altercation broke out, with the victim delivering powerful punches to her assailant’s head and fiercely clawing at him. She let out a piercing scream, consumed by fear for her life.

Finally, the woman went limp and pretended to lose consciousness in an attempt to make her attacker leave.

Jefferson allegedly committed multiple acts of sexual assault against the woman, first on the floor, then on her bed, and finally in her shower. It is reported that the defendant attempted to use water to eliminate any potential DNA evidence.

After Jefferson forcefully removed her from the shower and unceremoniously dropped her onto the bedroom floor, he departed.

The individual quickly rose to their feet and hurriedly made their way to a companion’s room, seeking assistance.

Jefferson has admitted to committing one count of burglary with intent to commit certain offenses and two counts of rape by using unlawful force in May. This week, a verdict was reached and the individual in question has been sentenced to five years in prison for the burglary count. Additionally, they have received a sentence of 20 years each for the rape counts. His sentences will be served concurrently, meaning they will be served at the same time.

Jefferson is facing an extradition warrant, which could lead to him being brought before a grand jury and potentially facing trial in the Lone Star State.

According to Navy officials, the defendant was in the brig at Miramar at the time of the murder charge, as reported by Law&Crime.
