Upcoming Week Weather Prediction for DC; Arctic Blast to Show its Full Effect

There’s a greater likelihood that the Washington, D.C., region may experience the first significant snowfall of the winter season next week.

The immediate D.C. area got heavy rain last week instead of the winter storm that dropped snow on portions of the DC region. The coldest air mass of the season would accompany any potential snowfall next week.

It’s going to be bright and close to fifty degrees on Thursday. On Friday night, the area is anticipated to see rain, thunderstorms, and gusts that might gust as high as 40 mph. This could cause problems for the region’s evening commute.

Mostly clear weekend with Saturday highs close to 50 degrees and Sunday highs around 40 degrees. Monday will bring in Arctic air, which will cause temperatures to plunge into the 30s.
