Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Bust in Rosenburg, Police Arrest 2 Californian Drug Dealers
Rosenburg, TX: An ordinary traffic stop on Sunday morning resulted in a major drug seizure for the Rosenberg Police Department’s Traffic Division on I-69.
Following a thorough investigation at the location, law enforcement found more than two pounds of Black Tar Heroin, valued at approximately $15,000. Moreover, a sum of $6,000 in American money was discovered. Vanessa Barragan and Anoosh Biyoukaghai, residents of California, face charges for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
Both the apprehended individuals are in police custody. The department has not shared any further detail about the bust. The mugshots were made public.
It is not known where the arrested individuals are kept. Their initial court hearing and the amount of bond is also not available at the moment.
