Toddler and Two Adults Fatally Struck by Train in Railroad Bridge Accident in Virginia

In Northern Virginia, a toddler and two adults were walking on a railroad bridge when they were struck by a train, according to the police. All three individuals received fatal injuries.

According to the preliminary findings of the investigation conducted by the Fairfax County Police, the three individuals were strolling on the elevated railroad lines in the vicinity of Accotink Park Road in Springfield when they were suddenly struck.

It was approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday when the police were dispatched to the spot. On the spot, it was determined that all three had passed away.

These tracks are located in close proximity to a lake and park that offers a variety of facilities, including hiking paths. Accotink Creek is traversed by the train tracks that are carried over the bridge.

The inquiry, according to the police, is still ongoing. In the beginning, they did not identify those who had been killed or state whether or not they were linked as per AP News.
