Three Tourists Brutally Stabbed by Man in Santa Monica; Police Arrest Perpetrator of the Unprovoked Attack
The Santa Monica Police Department has arrested a man after he stabbed three individuals in broad daylight.
Near parking structure No. 7, in the 1500 block of 4th Street, Santa Monica police were called to a stabbing incident on Sunday. Two individuals were discovered with stab wounds and a third victim of assault did not sustain any serious injuries when the police arrived.
Officers started cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures on one individual right away, per the police report.
When officers discovered the victims, the police agency chose not to reveal their conditions. According to the police, the attacks were not provoked.
It has been confirmed by officials that the two victims, who are tourists from Germany, are unrelated.
The specifics of the 29-year-old Larry Ameyal Cedeno’s arrest remain unknown. Cedeno was on probation for attempted grand theft of an automobile on May 9th when he was arrested; he was also homeless, according to court records.
Police in Santa Monica have chosen not to comment further on the matter since it is still under investigation.
While he awaits arraignment, Cedeno is detained at the Santa Monica jail.
