The Coast Guard catches 15 people off the coast of San Diego who are thought to be illegal aliens

More than a dozen people thought to be illegal immigrants were taken by two U.S. Coast Guard ships Wednesday off the coast of San Diego.

A Coast Guard news release says that just before 4:30 a.m., the crew of one of the cutters stopped a 20-foot cabin-style boat carrying 15 people who are thought to be illegal immigrants about 10 miles northwest of Point Loma.

The statement says that there were 11 adult men and 4 adult women on the boat, and they all said they were Mexican.

The Coast Guard arrested all 15 people who were thought to be illegal aliens and turned them over to the U.S. Border Patrol.

More than 1,100 people were arrested in just one week during an immigration raid in Florida that broke all records.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Miami and several other Florida law enforcement agencies worked together on Operation Tidal Wave, a huge crackdown on immigration.

Four days into the operation, police said they had arrested almost 800 people, including a Colombian man who had been convicted of murder, people who were thought to be members of the MS-13 and 18th Street gangs, and a Russian man who had an Interpol Red Notice for manslaughter.

People have been against it because they believe in due process, but in the first 100 days of the president’s second term, ICE arrested more than 66,000 illegal aliens and sent more than 65,000 away.

Two thousand two hundred eighty people were arrested on suspicion of being members of the Tren de Aragua, MS-13, 18th Street, and other gangs.

ICE said that more than 1,300 of the people arrested were accused or convicted of sex crimes and 498 were accused or convicted of murder. Many of them were members of gangs.

ICE Deputy Director Madison Sheahan told reporters Thursday, “If you come into this country illegally, you are a criminal.” “You will be sent away.” You will have the chance to come back to this country if you follow the right steps for immigration.

“We are working through those every single day, but our No. 1 goal is to keep the American people safe from the criminals who are walking in this country who never should have been let through in the first place.”
