Tennessee Deputy’s Vigilance Saves Teen From Alleged Abduction on I-75; Kidnapper Arrested

A man is facing multiple charges following the discovery made by deputies during a traffic stop on Interstate 75 in Tennessee.

At around 11 p.m., Dep. Justin Parks of the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee was conducting traffic on I-75.

The sheriff’s office observed a driver, Joshua N. Workman, exhibiting a lack of lane control while driving on the interstate.

During the traffic stop, Parks became aware of a teenage girl who was a passenger in the vehicle.

The teenager was registered as a missing and endangered individual from Georgia.

Deputies later discovered that Workman had intentions of taking the teenager to Ohio. A person has been arrested and is facing charges related to a runaway child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and violating alcoholic beverage laws. The teenager was allowed to go home with her parents.
