Teen Gang Members Killed another Teen over a $10 Necklace in Arizona, Rich Kid who was a Gang Member was helped by his Parents to cover the Death in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ: The millionaire parents of a teen gang member accused of murdering his 16-year-old peer in Queen Creek, Arizona, over Halloween weekend last year allegedly assisted in covering the suspects’ tracks after the beating death of Preston Lord, according to a report.
The teen gang is referred to as the “Gilbert Goons” in police documents that were recently made public and span thousands of pages.
A witness told police on November 4 that Renner allegedly confessed to a friend that he was the one who struck Lord first at a Phoenix suburb party, allegedly in a dispute over a gold necklace worth ten dollars that had been stolen from one of Lord’s companions.
Becky and Travis Renner, the parents of Renner, owned several Orangetheory Fitness studios in various states. Becky purportedly sought legal counsel for the 16-year-old after Lord’s assault. The attorney reportedly advised Becky that the 16-year-old would “get off” [not be punished] due to the significant number of children involved in the death.
Each defendant is accused of first-degree homicide in addition to kidnapping. Additionally, Turner, Meisner, and Billey are accused of aggravated robbery. Additionally, each of them has entered a not-guilty plea and is being detained on a $1 million bond.
An investigation has revealed that the Arizona-based ‘killer jock’ 17, who allegedly fatally beat a classmate, boasted on Snapchat about the incident afterward as per FOX News
Lord was reportedly struck with hammer punches by Renner and his companions during the fight.
It was subsequently revealed that Renner boasted on Snapchat about the incident, telling his friends, “I got in a fight, a big group fight and I accidentally killed a kid. I guess I’m just too strong.”
Police claim that they have terrorized the Phoenix suburb of Queen Creek for years. It was purported that they documented blitz-style assaults on fellow adolescents in public settings, including house parties and the exteriors of fast-food establishments.
