Teen Charged with First-Degree Murder After Orlando Drug Deal Turns Deadly

Miami Standard (Orlando, FL) – There are a number of charges that have been brought against a 17-year-old in connection with the fatal shooting of a guy in Orlando that occurred during a “drug transaction,” as stated in a press release.

A shooting occurred at 5200 North Orange Blossom Trail on March 16 at approximately 1:33 a.m., according to the Orlando Police Department, which responded to the location.

A man and a woman were found inside a vehicle, with the male suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the release. The cops that responded to the scene discovered the vehicle.

The individual, who was named as Jared A. Kinloch and was 26 years old, was transported to ORMC, where he was evaluated and confirmed dead.

During an interview with the police, the woman who was in the vehicle stated that the shooting took place during the transaction involving the drug.

The press announcement states that Damian B. Burden was taken into custody by the police on Tuesday. Attempting to rob someone with a firearm and first-degree murder with a firearm are the allegations that have been brought against him in relation with the incident.

Additionally, according to the police, Burden is being charged with grand theft auto, armed trespass in conveyance, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a juvenile, resistance without violence, and not having a valid driver license. All of these allegations are related to the same incident.
