Stolen Truck found Stuffed with Dead Body wrapped in Plastic Sheets in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA: On Thursday morning, authorities in Mid-City discovered what appeared to be human remains in the back of a U-Haul truck that had been parked next to a curb in a residential area.
The grisly discovery was made early in the morning, on the 2400 block of Redondo Boulevard, not far from the 10 Freeway.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the truck, which was at least 15 feet long, had been reported stolen.
According to Lt. Robert Peters of the Los Angeles Police Department, the owners came to reclaim their abandoned U-Haul and found what they thought were human remains. The finding was subsequently reported to the authorities.
According to footage captured by AIR7 HD, the bodies were found in the cargo area, seemingly wrapped in a plastic sheet or tarp of teal color. As homicide investigators inspected the car, LAPD officers blocked off the street to traffic as per KTLA.
The dead body inside the truck had not been identified by the Medical office. No more details have been revealed by the authorities.
The Los Angeles Police Department started an investigation to look into the matter.
