South Carolina Pastor Husband Manipulated Wife, Accused of Grooming Her Before Marriage, Used Naked Photos as Controlling Tool: Family
Myrtle Beach, SC: Police in Myrtle Beach have filed a report alleging that John-Paul, Mica Miller’s husband, was manipulative towards her before the couple married in 2017.
Following their return from an involuntary hospital stay, Miller lodged a report on February 21st concerning a stolen automobile.
At Robeson County’s Lumber River State Park, a terrible tragedy happened on April 27. Just two days after presenting John-Paul, the former senior pastor at Solid Rock Church in Market Common, with divorce papers, a 30-year-old lady from Myrtle Beach committed suicide.
Miller was an important figure in the church, especially as leader of the women’s ministry and youth worship.
Recent court filings by Miller’s siblings seeking to administer her inheritance corroborated a string of alarming accusations of abuse within her marriage, which tragically led to her untimely death.
On May 2, Sierra and Nathaniel Francis revealed in affidavits that Mica’s spouse had a terrible history of abusing and harassing her. The statements that Miller made to the police in February lend credence to these claims.
Meeting with police in the parking area of the Coastal Grand Mall, Miller reported her car stolen. While she was in the hospital from February 8th to the 10th, she told the police that she thought John-Paul was involved in the car theft.
When John-Paul’s wife stops taking her medicine, she tends to blow through their budget, he claims. In an effort to stop its sale, he also confessed to owning the vehicle.
John-Paul Miller claims that he told the authorities that the car in issue was marital property and that he would not be giving it back to his wife for at least another month. He said that these careless incidents usually occurred around this period.
In her statement, Sierra Francis states that her sister voiced her fear of being followed and implied that her husband might have engaged bodyguards. The document asserts that while his wife was undergoing treatment at a mental health facility, John-Paul moved her personal possessions out of the house and gave the deed to one of his sons, among other things.
After her sister decided to get a divorce, Sierra Francis said that she was both hopeful and terrified about what the future held for her.
“Hey everybody. I just want to let you know that I’m alive and well, and life’s been kind of crazy the past weeks, months, and years, but I’ve had to keep my circle really small for the past couple of weeks because I’m going through a lot, and it’s hard, and it’s my cross to bear,” Miller said on March 18.
“I want to reach out to everybody to tell you how much I love you and I miss you, but this is the best way I know how,” she said.
Over the course of ten days in March, Mica Miller kept her personal Facebook page updated with regular updates about her life and mental health.
