Son Killed Mother and left her Dead Body to rot in a Bathtub in Maryland; Arrested with Rotten Corpse in Custody
Fruitland, MD: On Monday, police in Maryland detained a man they say murdered his mother and stashed her body in the bathtub of their shared house.
The Maryland State Police have charged Jeremy Gentry, 48, with several counts of murder (first and second degree), assault (first and second degree), and reckless endangerment in relation to the death of Beatrice Kay Gentry, 68.
A woman was reported unresponsive at a residence on Sand Castle Boulevard at approximately 9 p.m. on Sunday, prompting the Fruitland Police Department and emergency medical care personnel to react.
As soon as emergency personnel arrived at the residence, they discovered the woman’s lifeless body in the tub. At the site, emergency medical services declared her deceased.
After taking over the case, the Homicide Unit of the Maryland State Police searched the residence for clues.
