Social Media Influencer Charged with Manslaughter after Crash Kills Mother and 2 Children in New York City

Miami Standard (New York City, NY) – A social media influencer faces manslaughter charges linked to a tragic accident that resulted in three fatalities on Saturday, as reported by the New York Daily News.

Miriam Yarimi, known for her wig-making skills on TikTok and Instagram, faced serious charges on Saturday night, including manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, reckless driving, and assault, following a car crash that resulted in the tragic death of a 35-year-old mother and her two children, according to reports.

The 32-year-old Yarimi was reportedly behind the wheel with a suspended licence when she crashed into a taxi on Ocean Parkway. Following the first impact, Yarimi veered into the crosswalk, colliding with Natasha Saada and her children.

Authorities remained uncertain whether Yarimi had indeed violated traffic signals, yet it was reported that she had amassed over $10,000 in fines, including more than 25 citations for speeding and disregarding traffic lights.

“I will call it like it is. This was a horrific tragedy caused by someone who shouldn’t have been on the road,” said NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch at a press conference on Saturday.
