Shooting in SF: 1 Dead & 4 Injured in Tenderloin Neighborhood
San Francisco, CA: Authorities in San Francisco reported that a mass shooting occurred early Thursday morning in the Tenderloin neighborhood, leaving one person dead and four others critically wounded.
Around 2:30 in the morning, San Francisco police reacted to shooting complaints between Hyde and Turk streets. Upon arrival, they discovered four men and one woman shot. A nearby hospital treated all five casualties, but one man did not survive.
There were four other casualties, all of whom had injuries, according to the officials.
Detectives investigating the shooting are examining the matter as a homicide. The authorities refrained from disclosing any details regarding the suspects or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
