Shooting in LA Bar Left 1 Dead; Woman Suspect Escaped from LAPD

Los Angeles, CA: A horrific incident unfolded on Saturday that claimed the life of one person and seriously injured two others. The shooting happened in a bar. The LAPD is looking for the suspect.

An LAPD news release says that at 12:15 a.m., there were reports of a shooting at a business in the San Pedro area.

A police spokesperson informed that the killing took place at the Machista Bar.

According to the spokesperson, there was a fight inside the bar before the killing. “The suspect fired several times, hitting three people.”

When police arrived, they found a 33-year-old guy who had been shot and killed.

A woman, 35, and a man, 44, were also shot. Both the injured persons were rushed to a nearby hospital. According to the hospital staff, neither of their injuries was life-threatening.

Police said the suspect is a Hispanic woman between the ages of 20 and 30. The police checked the area’s perimeter for several hours before declaring that the suspect had escaped.

Officials are still looking for the suspect as they continue to look into the killing. If you have any information, immediately inform the police.
