Hollywood, FL (MSN) – A maintenance worker for Miami-Dade County Public Schools was taken into custody in Hollywood on suspicion of child pornography, according to the police.

63-year-old Arthur Shulof Collot was taken into custody on Wednesday as per Hollywood Police Department. He is facing 11 felony charges.

The authorities pressed the following charges against Collot:

• 10 counts of Child Porn Possession.
• 1 count of Chil Porn Compilation.

Collot was a maintenance worker for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, according to the police, although he did not specify whether he was employed by a school.

Collot’s inquiry started after police said they got a tip in November that he had downloaded child pornography to his house in Hollywood.

Upon obtaining a search warrant for Collot’s gadgets, investigators discovered dozens of child pornographic photos on his computer, according to officials.

Police added that after Collot first denied any involvement, he later acknowledged downloading child pornography since the 1990s.

Arthur Collot said that he obtains the illegal content by “using the dark web.”

District officials are “deeply troubled by the disturbing allegations” according to a statement from M-DCPS.

“This district is committed to upholding all employees to the highest standard of integrity and respect and this type of comportment will not be tolerated,” the statement reads. “As a result, his employment with the District will be terminated and the individual has been precluded from seeking future employment with the District.”

Collot was taken into custody and booked into jail on a $82,500 bond at the Broward Main Jail.
