Robbed and Beaten with Hammer; Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in San Diego

San Diego, CA: The San Diego Police Department is looking for a woman suspect who attacked another woman with a hammer at a tow lot in the Grantville area.

Police say the crime happened at the shop in the 4300 block of Sheridan Lane around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police said that a woman came into the shop and used a hammer to hit a female worker. The suspect stole money from a cash machine and then drove off in a gray 2024 Nissan Titan with government license plates.

The injured female worker was taken to the hospital for immediate medical attention.

Authorities are looking into what happened before the attack. The police have not released any more details regarding the circumstances of the incident.
