Rape Charges against School resource officer in Oklahoma

Mannford, OK: Authorities in Oklahoma have made allegations that a school resource officer in the state is responsible for raping a kid and providing alcohol to a juvenile.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, James Matthew Waltman, who is 42 years old, was recognized as a school resource officer for Mannford Public Schools as well as a police officer for the city of Mannford.

One case of rape by instrumentation and two counts of supplying or providing alcohol to a juvenile were the charges that were brought against him, according to the records of the jail.

It was not possible to find any information on Waltman’s attorney in the jail records.

Following the school’s discovery of Waltman’s behavior, the institution said in a statement that it had alerted the appropriate authorities.

According to the records of the jail, Waltman was taken into custody on March 5 and released less than twenty-four hours later.

The request for comment that was made by McClatchy News was not immediately met with a response from the Mannford Police Department. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been given the responsibility of investigating the matter, as stated in a press release issued by the police department.

On the 19th of March, Waltman is due to make an appearance in court.

It has been stated by the Oklahoma State Bureau of inquiry that the inquiry is still ongoing.
