Prostitution Ring Members Busted in Florida; 10 Arrested after Undercover Operation

A successful undercover prostitution operation was carried out by the West Palm Beach Police Department, which resulted in the arrest of ten individuals just prior to the Fourth of July vacation.

“Nobody should have to endure this in their neighborhood, in their area, or the city, for that matter,” West Palm Beach Police spokesman Mike Jachles said. “While people were in holiday mode on July 3rd, our officers were out there working the streets, making the arrests. We had ten people arrested.”

There are charges relating to prostitution against the persons that were arrested. For the most part, the places where the arrests took place are what are known as “hot spots” at the north and south ends of the city. These “hot spots” are located in close proximity to houses, shops, daycares, and other establishments.

There are allegations that the guys sought to pick up women for paid sex, but they were instead confronted by female officers who were undercover.

Additional charges have been brought against a guy who was found to be in possession of fentanyl and who attempted to exchange the substance for sexual activity with a sham person as per CBS12 News.

Two of the women who were apprehended have a history of criminal convictions, which makes the punishment for their crimes more severe.
