Potholes Becoming Nightmare on I-24 in Nashville as Many Vehicles Damaged

Nashville, Tennessee: The recent weather conditions have caused numerous potholes to form on roadways throughout the state. The Tennessee Department of Transportation is currently working tirelessly to address this recurring problem.

Early Thursday morning, there was a noticeable increase in traffic on I-24 as drivers maneuvered to avoid the potholes on the road.

Currently, TDOT is actively working on a statewide initiative to address the areas that have been damaged.

While driving through Nashville, commuters may come across Nashville Department of Transportation crews working diligently to patch up road holes. These hardworking individuals kindly request drivers to provide them with ample space to carry out their tasks.

It’s important to note that the temporary patches will eventually wear out, prompting the agency to plan for permanent repairs in the upcoming spring when the weather is more favorable.

Meanwhile, TDOT is urging individuals to promptly report any potholes or road damage they come across, ensuring that it receives immediate attention.

The repairs are scheduled to occur primarily between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., with a focus on roads that have experienced the most damage due to heavy traffic.
