Pickup Truck Engulfed in Flames on I-4, Blocks Traffic in Volusia County

Volusia County, FL – A pickup truck being towed by an RV burst into flames on Interstate 4 Tuesday afternoon, causing traffic disruptions in Volusia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

Troopers said the incident occurred in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 109. Traffic footage captured the burning vehicle, which resulted in the closure of the outside lane as first responders worked to contain the fire.

Authorities have not released details on what may have caused the fire. The incident remains under investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
