Pickup Truck Crashed on I-15 in Temecula, Driver Rescued by Firefighters

Temecula, California: A pickup truck struck a tree on Interstate 15 in Temecula on Tuesday afternoon. The driver suffered serious injuries following the crash.

The white pickup truck was southbound on I-15 close to Rancho California Road when it collided with a tree. The accident happened at around 1 pm.

The truck driver struck a tree at approximately 70 mph after veering off the freeway’s right-hand shoulder, according to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol.

The Riverside County Fire Department and Cal Fire rescued the driver from the debris. firefighters had to make a hole in a motorway fence. The victim was immediately taken to the hospital. No other injury was reported.

CalTrans was informed of the incident. The traffic in the area is now running smoothly and the cleanup process was completed by 3 pm the same day.

California Highway Patrol will be investigating the crash and surrounding circumstances. The driver is now safe and sound and is receiving further care at the local hospital.
