Parking Spot Brawl: Neighbor Stabbed Teen to Death in New York City
New York City, NY: According to police reports, a neighbor in the Bronx brutally murdered a 19-year-old man over a parking place.
According to police and sources, Dominic Cruz Aguilera was inside his Morris Heights house when Vladimir Lopez German, a 45-year-old neighbor, pounded on the door and demanded that the adolescent remove his car from the property just before 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
When Aguilera walked outside to switch spots near Featherbed Lane and Inwood Avenue, an argument broke out, and Lopez German allegedly stabbed his neighbor in the chest out of anger, according to sources.
According to ABC 7, the injured boy lost consciousness after stumbling to a neighboring bodega. A bodega worker named Wendy Reinoso told the channel that she kept shouting and proclaimed, “He’s going to die, he’s going to die.” It was a distressing story.
Despite Aguilera’s rapid transport to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln by EMS, he was ultimately not salvageable. He was a “beautiful person,” according to his brother, who was grieving and who co-owned an auto body company with him.
Rumor has it that Lopez German is an Uber driver; he was later apprehended and faces charges of murder, manslaughter, and illegal possession of a weapon. According to the police, he resided across the street from the victim and this was his first arrest.
He was detained by a Bronx judge during his arraignment on Friday afternoon. April 24th is when he is next due in court.
