Overpass Disaster in Dallas as 18-wheeler Lost Control and Hanged on Overpass: Check Images
An accident resulted in a large truck dangling from an overpass in Downtown Dallas on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on the southbound U.S. 75/Interstate 345, close to Live Oak Street.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the accident, according to deputies from the Dallas County Sheriff’s office. An 18-wheeler collided with the guardrail and fell off the side of the bridge.

The truck was left suspended from the top of the bridge, supported only by its rear axles.
The driver was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation as per Fox4News.
Delays plagued the area throughout the morning commute as workers skillfully maneuvered a crane to safely lower the truck. A section of Live Oak Street was also temporarily closed.
The cleanup in that area may require the majority of the day. The damaged guardrail will require repairs as well.
The crash may have been influenced by the rainy weather.
