The informant was given what Baez, a resident of the Bronx, allegedly described as “top quality” fentanyl in a container of Mentos candies, according to authorities.

Next, she informed the informant that she could offer them a kilogram of heroin for $25,000, as well as 800 grams of fentanyl, with the price depending on the quality of the substance to be discussed later.
