“New York,” Mayor Eric Adams Described the Whole Year in Just 2 Words. See How He Justified His Weird Description

It is possible that Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, is not a “good mayor” in the classic sense. or possesses a sizable support base should he decide to run for reelection. But in a Rovellian sense, he’s fantastic for content. He was asked to choose a single word to sum up the year and give an explanation for it on a Monday morning PIX 11 show.

Adams ultimately decided to use the name “New York,” which is a little strange but not particularly strange. Considering that his justification was just duh.

“New York,” Adams said.” This is a place where everyday you wake up you could experience everything from a plane crashing into our Trade Center to a person who is celebrating a new business that’s opened. This is a very complicated city and that’s why it’s the greatest city on the globe.”

Indeed, it was probably the perfect decision, since the interviewer for Adams just says “uh-huh” and keeps things going like a pro without any follow-ups. When something like that comes up in response to even the mildest of softball questions, it’s better to just stay out of the frame and let this thing run its course.

Well he could have described the year with more relevant words. But his explanation is somewhat off from the side of the public.
