New Marijuana Retail Store Coming to Carson City
Carson, Nevada: Another medical marijuana store has been approved to open in Carson after receiving a special use permit.
The project’s establishment will be located in the existing retail space on the north side of Highway 50 E, near the intersection with Airport Road.
The applicants, GTI Nevada LLC, believe that the building’s 5,500 square feet are perfect due to its excellent location and current zoning. Representing GTI, Will Adler, Principal of Silver State Government Relations, expressed the team’s success.
At the Carson City Planning Commission, everything appeared evident today. We found a piece of land that perfectly met all the criteria for suitable zoning under the existing regulations, and they agreed. Adler is pleased with the new dispensary’s location in Carson City. There is opposition to the idea, with some arguing that there is an excessive number of dispensaries in Carson City.
According to their perspective, it would be more beneficial to allocate funds towards improving existing services and building dispensaries in areas with a genuine demand for them.
