New Hampshire Affordable Housing: MADCO3D Presents a Solution, In Talks With The Rochester City Management

Rochester, New Hampshire: The Affordable Housing Crisis looms over many states in the United States. MADCO3D, a small company presents the solution to the above problem.

The top officials of the company say that the company can provide a house within a week. The company uses robots and 3-D printing technology to construct a house as per the demands.

The business is in discussions with the city of Rochester to build a 40-home community composed only of 3D-printed sand concrete homes. It would be situated on Chesley Hill Road, which is city-owned land.

Rochester Mayor Paul Callaghan said, “We have 46 acres out there. We are interested in creating workforce housing. There is a real need for this.”

The company says that it can build houses as per the needs of the tenants. Many sorts of materials can be used to construct these houses as per the topography of the area. Wooden, plastics and recycled materials can be used to construct durable houses.

MADCO3D is collaborating with the University of New Hampshire to deepen the research as well as to create more innovations in the 3-D printing market.

John Roth, the director of the John Olson Advanced Manufacturing Centre at UNH, is the conduit through which MADCO3D is collaborating with the university.

According to Katie Ambrose, the city manager of Rochester, feasibility studies are being conducted to present a proposal to the City Council in the upcoming year.
