NASA Reveals Photos of Uranus Taken by Webb Telescope
This week, NASA unveiled fresh images of Uranus, which experts claim to be the most beautiful photograph yet of the seventh planet in our solar system.
After launching over two years ago, the James Webb Space Telescope captured images of Uranus’ moons, polar regions, and rings.
Within the belts of gas and space junk sits a planet with a mean temperature of -320 degrees, one of the lowest in the solar system.
Said to be unmatched in technology, scientists were able to view the planet, which is located around 2 billion miles away.
The chilly, windy planet Uranus has harsh seasons due to its tilt, which exceeds 90 degrees.
The advanced infrared technology in the telescope made it possible to capture this stunning photo of the planet.
