San Antonio, TX: The Texas authorities arrested multiple individuals after a raid at several homes on the Southwest Side in the early morning hours.

A residence along Port Victoria Street close to Interstate 35 was the target of the raid that occurred soon after 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, the property was searched for narcotics and firearms, which were discovered. Among the weapons discovered were those with switches that could be used to turn them into fully automatic weapons.

While visiting the officer’s residence, he also mentioned that some of the recovered items had been stolen from a car belonging to the Northside Independent School District.

The Confiscated Items by Bexar County

Rifle plates, which are a component of the tactical vests worn by law enforcement officers, were among the other artifacts discovered.

Several individuals fled the residence in terror as the raiders approached; one of them attempted to take refuge in a stolen SUV that contained several firearms.

The fugitives were eventually apprehended with the aid of a Department of Public Safety helicopter and multiple drones operated by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Sheriff Salazar, a stolen SUV and two stolen Dodge Charges were found.

They are continuing their investigation, he said, and have detained roughly five to seven people. Murderous felony warrants have been issued for several of the accused. According to Sheriff Salazar, a number of the accused have ties to Mexican drug organizations.

The weapons discovered inside the residence led Sheriff Salazar to believe that the accused could face many federal counts as per News4 San Antonio.

Additional assistance for the deputies during the raid came from the San Antonio Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and DEA agents.
