Mom Saves Teen Daughter from Kidnapper in New York City; Kidnapper sprayed Pepper Spray to control the victims

New York City, NY: In Queens, New York, a woman defended her daughter by fighting off a man who allegedly attempted to abduct her.

At about 9 a.m. on January 23, the event occurred in their apartment complex when the 18-year-old brought her dog inside their house.

“According to the New York Police Department, a 25-year-old male assaulted the victim by grabbing her from behind, dragging her, and then punching her multiple times in the face, causing her pain,” the department stated. A woman of 35 years old came to the aid of the complaint when she began shouting for assistance.

In order to inflict agony, the suspect took pepper spray out of his pocket and sprayed her face, according to the statement. “He proceeded to strike her several times on the face before hurling her down the stairs. At the bottom, he started kicking her in the back, inflicting injuries such as bruises, a dislocated shoulder, and pain.”

A witness to the incident “grabbed the suspect as he tried to flee the location,” according to the authorities.

George Vassiliou, the suspect who was apprehended, was booked into jail on charges of assault, criminal possession of a firearm, harassment, and breaking a restraining order.

The New York Post interviewed Adriana Alvarez, who fought off the assailant who had attacked her daughter Lex. The mother’s scream was the loudest she had ever sounded, Alvarez said the news source. “At first, I thought the dog had bolted downstairs, but when I went outside, I witnessed the dragging of my daughter.”

Alvarez and Lex sprinted outside to call for aid after escaping, and a neighbor rushed over to restrain Vassiliou until the authorities came.

The Post was informed by NYPD sources that Vassiliou parked a hired car outside Lex and Alvarez’s building the night before January’s attempted kidnapping. Reportedly, the vehicle also contained sleeping tablets, melatonin, tampons, and a bag with rope.

Not only that, but Alvarez also shattered his shoulder, elbow, and fractured his orbital bone. And they said, “These are the bandages she proudly wears because she defended her cub.”
