Mississippi Mother Identifies her 2 Teenage Sons accused of Shooting at Deputies, Turned them in after calling the Cops in Holly Springs
Holly Springs, MS: A mother in Holly Springs, Mississippi, recognized her sons who were accused of opening fire on police officers and then she turned them in to the Police.
A woman in Holly Springs, Mississippi, recognized the two individuals police said shot at officers the second they were revealed in images made public by the police. The boys belonged to her.
She arranged for the two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, to get into her car and go to the station to surrender themselves.
Upon noticing a red Kia Forte driving erratically early Tuesday morning, officers from the Holly Springs police department attempted to pull it over. However, the driver evaded capture. The vehicle fired at least two rounds during the brief pursuit. The gunfire missed the police officers, but it did hit a police vehicle.
After the police issued a citation, a deputy from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office observed the car heading toward Memphis on Interstate 22. The criminals fled into the woods after abandoning the vehicle.

The police shared the photos they found of the youngsters with the local media after discovering them on a Ring camera. The culprits, whose identities have not been made public, were apprehended by Wednesday, with the help of their mother.
“I am not going to mess around with them,” she declared to WMC. “The time must be served if the crime is to be committed — plain and simple.”
In the Marshall County Jail, they are facing charges of aggravated assault on a police officer.
Darryl Bowens, chief of police in Holly Springs, stated that the youths endangered the officers.

Bowens told WREG, a CBS affiliate, that “when you discharge a firearm, that bullet could go anywhere,” meaning that both the officer and anyone else on the highway might have been hurt. “Thankfully, the officer escaped unharmed, and so far, no pedestrians or other road users have reported injuries.”
Even though it was tough, the mother did the correct thing, according to Bowens.
A parent turning in their children was unexpected, but she justified it by saying, ‘Well, they committed the crime, then they have to come and face the consequences of their conduct.’ To give in her sons was a very noble thing for her to do, Bowens told the TV station.
