Missing Teen was Trafficked for Sexual Exploitation; Drugged Teen Rescued with Three Arrests in South Carolina: Authorities
BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C.- According to the state Law Enforcement Division, three individuals from South Carolina have been charged for their involvement in a human trafficking scheme that includes a missing minor.
Three individuals, Alban Bryan, Guy Frank Talley III, and William James Youmans, were recently arrested and charged, as per SLED documents.
Samuel Cyrus Blackman, 37, was charged with simple possession of marijuana during the investigation, according to a citation provided by SLED.
Based on the information provided in the warrant affidavits, Bryan and Youmans were involved in the housing of a minor who had been reported missing, and they provided her with narcotics.
The documents allege that Bryan, Youmans, and Talley were involved in the recruitment, enticement, solicitation, isolation, harboring, transportation, provision, and obtaining of the victim, who was under 18, for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts in exchange for compensation.
According to reports, the men allegedly continued to subject her to what authorities have described as a “human sex trafficking scheme.”
According to the documents, investigators have discovered evidence suggesting that Talley was involved in the distribution, receipt, sale, purchase, exchange, or solicitation of visual materials depicting a minor engaged in sexual activity or explicit nudity.
According to warrants, the crimes occurred in Beaufort and St. Helena Island between February and March as per WYFF4 News.
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, the Beaufort Police Department, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, the Hardeeville Police Department, the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, are collaborating on an active and ongoing investigation.
