Miami Gang Member Tossed in Jail for Life after Murder of 22-year-old man and Assault on Federal Agent
Miami, FL: A man from Miami was found guilty of a number of offenses. The list of offenses includes the murder of another individual in aid of racketeering.
It also has the assault of a federal law enforcement officer, multiple counts of discharging a firearm in furtherance of violent crime, possession of firearms and ammunition as a convicted felon, access device fraud, and aggravated identity theft. He was sentenced to life in prison for all of these offenses. Among the terms of the sentence is a five-year period of parole under supervision.
On the 28th of April, 2020, Geno St. Flerose, a member of the “Everybody Eats” gang, also known as “EBE,” pursued a victim for more than four blocks before shooting him to death.
After firing thirteen rounds at the victim’s vehicle, St. Flerose struck him three times with his bullets. Despite the fact that paramedics took the victim, who was 22 years old, to the hospital, he ultimately passed away as a result of his injuries.

On June 17, 2020, St. Flerose encountered a federal special agent who was conducting surveillance in his area. St. Flerose observed the agent’s car when the agent was in the neighborhood. Following his escape into the street, he opened fire on the vehicle with a number of shots. There was no damage to the agent, despite the fact that the rounds were able to penetrate the car.
After further investigation, law enforcement officials found that St. Flerose’s phone had the personal information of hundreds of persons.
The United States District Judge Beth Bloom handed down a sentence, which was announced by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Markenzy Lapointe, the Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Miami, Jeffrey B. Veltri, and Rafael Barros, the Special Agent in Charge of the United States Secret Service in Miami.
FBI Miami and USSS Miami were the ones in charge of the investigation. While Assistant United States Attorney Yara Dodin was in charge of the prosecution of the case, Assistant United States Attorney Mitchell Hyman was in charge of the asset forfeiture.
This sentence of life in prison is a reflection of the gravity of the crimes committed by St. Flerose and demonstrates the determination of federal law enforcement to punish those who pose a threat to the safety of the general public.
