Massive Drug Bust in California: 51 Arrested in San Bernardino with Stolen Items, Arms and Narcotics
Southern California was the location of a drug and theft operation that resulted in the arrest of fifty-one defendants as part of the operation.
The San Bernardino Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force, together with other local agencies, was responsible for carrying out the operation, which reached across three counties.
In total, 51 people were taken into custody after the authorities conducted searches at numerous sites. The crackdown led to the discovery of a stockpile of products that were both illegal and stolen.
Along with the firearms that were taken into custody, the officers discovered a substantial quantity of ammunition as well. The photographs taken during the bust show that the stolen cargo was kept in a warehouse.
The confiscated items involved:
- $8 million of stolen cargo
- $325,000 in cash
- 425 pounds of methamphetamine
- 48 gallons of liquid meth
- 20 stolen vehicles
- 20 rifles and handguns
- 1 working meth lab
Numerous charges, including felony offenses linked to train burglaries, VIN-switched stolen automobiles, operating a meth lab, possession of meth for sale, child endangerment, possession of assault weapons, conspiracy, and more, were filed against the 51 suspicious individuals who were apprehended and detained.
There was no disclosure of the suspects’ identities as reported by KTLA News.
