Maryland Teacher Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse of Students; Authorities Sprang in Action after Multiple Student Reports

A high school teacher in Baltimore County has been arrested for sexual abuse of a minor, according to the police.

Randallstown High School teacher Carlos Arroyo, 38, is facing serious charges including sexual abuse of a minor and sexual offense in the third degree.

According to authorities, Arroyo is also dealing with two misdemeanor charges.

The Baltimore County Police Department was made aware of these incidents at the end of April. An investigation was launched by detectives who have been diligently conducting interviews and collecting evidence. As a result of their efforts, Arroyo was apprehended on Friday.

Arroyo is currently in custody at the Baltimore County Detention Center without the option for bail as reported by CBS News.
