Man Stabbed to Death with Screwdriver by a Gang of Drunk Men in Plantation

Plantation, FL: A man was stabbed with a screwdriver by another man in Plantation. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The tragic incident unfolded on Monday after a heated argument in a Laundromat in Plantation.

A group of men was damaging the truck of the stabbed man. After catching the group vandalizing the truck, the owner resisted. A heated altercation ensued after this which ended after the brutal stabbing.

The suspect used a screwdriver to stab the victim. The victim is a professional painter, floor installer, and a father of two kids.

The authorities stated that the incident happened at the 24-hour Coin Laundry on South State Road 7 on Monday. The victim was present there with his family and was using the laundromat.

The victim came out to the parking lot and soon after people started hearing loud voices. They all rushed outside and found the man in a pool of blood.

The group of men were intoxicated and were vandalizing the man’s pick-up truck as per WFLA.

The victim died at the scene as confirmed by the Plantation Police Department spokesperson Officer Chavez Grant. The department did not release the identity of the victim as per the family’s request.

All the suspects are on large and the officers are looking for them as per the description given by the witnesses at the crime scene. The authorities have started an investigation.
