Man Shot Son’s Ex-wife and New Husband over Child Custody Case in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV: A man shot a couple to death over a child custody case. The victim was a Las Vegas top attorney and his wife. The perpetrator then shot himself to death as well.

According to witnesses, attorney James W. Houston II opened fire on attorney Dennis Prince and his wife Ashley at the Prince Law Group office, which is located around fifteen miles west of the Las Vegas Strip, at approximately ten in the morning.

According to individuals who spoke with KTNV, Ashley Prince and her ex-husband had two children together when the shooting started. The deposition was about child custody. The accused gunman was appearing in court as a representative for his kid.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which cited court records, Ashley Prince’s ex-husband Dylan Edward Houston filed for a divorce from her in 2021.

The wife, who had two children with Dylan Houston, was granted joint custody of them, according to the newspaper, and Dennis Prince represented her in court.

Ashley Prince reportedly filed an “emergency motion for sole custody of the minor children; and for attorneys’ fees and costs” on Monday, according to the newspaper reports.

The couple recently welcomed their baby and were happy with the kids.
