Man Shot Pregnant Girlfriend after Heated Argument; Fled on Stolen Motorcycle; Apprehended by Cops in Michigan

A man has been arraigned for allegedly shooting his pregnant girlfriend in a Lee Township home, as reported by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office.

A 23-year-old individual named Dylan Michael Percival, residing in the Pullman area, is currently facing a total of 10 charges. These charges include assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, aggravated assault, reckless discharge of a firearm, being a habitual offender, and other weapons charges.

Percival’s bond has been set at $75,000.

ACSO reported that a call was received from a residence in Lee Township regarding a pregnant woman who had been shot on June 15.

A contract deputy from Lee Township responded to the incident and immediately provided first aid to a 31-year-old pregnant woman who had sustained a gunshot wound. According to ACSO, she was transported to a nearby hospital and both she and the baby are reported to be in good condition.

ACSO has reported that the victim was involved in a dispute with Percival. During the altercation, Percival accidentally discharged his firearm, injuring the woman in her abdomen and leg.

According to court documents, a witness stated that Percival and his pregnant girlfriend were engaged in a heated argument regarding his personal choices and way of life.

During the altercation, the witness claimed that Percival produced a firearm from his waistband and demonstrated its authenticity by manipulating the slide.

According to a witness, the unfortunate incident occurred when the individual was handling the firearm, resulting in the woman being struck.

Percival departed the area on a motorcycle that was allegedly stolen, according to ACSO. Deputies successfully located the firearm and established communication with Percival via phone in their efforts to locate him.

Following multiple reports from the community, Percival was located on June 17 and apprehended as per WZZM13.

Percival has a criminal record that includes a conviction for felonious assault and possession of Methamphetamine.
