Man Shot 2 Individuals After Heated Exchange in Brooklyn
Following an early-morning gunshot in Brooklyn, two individuals are in serious condition, and an NYPD officer sustained injuries in an automobile accident while rushing to the site, according to the police.
A call about a person shot close to the intersection of Linwood Street and Fulton Street in Cypress Hills was received at 5:57 a.m. by the police.
The gunman approached a white Mercedes C300, opened the rear driver’s side door, and seized the passenger by the neck.
His revolver remained in his pocket, held tightly by the attacker. The attacker then leaped from the car, grabbing the driver by the neck for a little while before pointing a gun at him.
Following some verbal exchanges between the two men and the gunman, the 28-year-old passenger aimed the weapon.
The attacker then opened fire on the 28-year-old multiple times in the middle of the street, according to police confirmation.
The 33-year-old can be seen sprinting away and raising his hands in the air later in the footage. The gunman shot the second victim twice, ignoring the surrender sign.
When police arrived on the scene, they discovered that the 28-year-old had been shot several times throughout his body and the 33-year-old had been shot twice, once in the right arm and once in the torso.
For treatment, both men were taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.
According to authorities, the 28-year-old man’s condition is critical. Although stable, the 33-year-old victim’s health is also critical.
The authorities have not arrested the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
