Man Performed Inappropriate Acts in Front of Mother-Daughter Duo at a Traffic Stop; Arrested after Heated Altercation with Mother in Long Island

A Nesconset man has been arrested by Suffolk County Police for engaging in a series of lewd acts in front of two victims. This arrest comes after a previous arrest for similar accusations. The man is identified as Jacob Levy.

Levy, 27, was recently arrested for engaging in inappropriate behavior in his vehicle. The mother and the daughter were in another car.

On April 22 at around 3 p.m., Levy engaged in inappropriate behavior while driving on Route 347. He pulled up next to a vehicle driven by a woman, who had her 6-year-old daughter as a passenger, at the intersection of Gibbs Pond Road. Levy was not wearing pants as reported by the mother.

The mother had a verbal altercation with Levy, recorded his license plate number, and contacted the police. Levy made a quick getaway in the Civic.

After conducting an investigation, detectives from the Fourth Squad apprehended Levy and filed charges against him for Public Lewdness 1st Degree, Public Lewdness, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be held overnight and is set to appear for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip.

After the arrest, Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives have taken Jacob Levy into custody. He now faces two more charges of Public Lewdness as more victims have come forward. He will spend the night in custody and is set to appear in court at First District Court in Central Islip.
