Man Imprisoned for 55 years for killing Pregnant Teen in Prince George County
The court ordered 55 years of imprisonment for a man who is accused of killing a pregnant teen.
Malik Johnson was convicted by the court of the first-degree murder of a teen. The teen was pregnant at the time of his death. The killer also knew that the teen was pregnant. The killing happened in Capital Heights.
When the victim was taken to the hospital, she was pronounced dead. The doctors were able to save the baby. The prematurely delivered infant will suffer lifelong health issues that occurred due to the stabbing.
It was revealed in the investigation that the teenager had not revealed the identity of the father of the baby to the killer.
The defense draws attention to Johnson’s difficult past, while the prosecution attributes the motivation to resentment over fatherhood.
